2. Server log files
When you visit this website, the web server automatically stores: IP address, date and time of the request, requested page, referring page, browser and operating system. This data is used for the secure and stable operation of the website and to defend against attacks (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The log files are deleted automatically on a rolling basis.
3. Visitor statistics without cookies
To see how often our pages are visited, we evaluate the server log files on our own server. Before evaluation, IP addresses are shortened (the last part is removed), so that no visitor can be identified. We do not use cookies, tracking pixels or external analytics services. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in improving the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. No external services
Fonts and images are delivered from our own server. We do not use Google Fonts, social media plug-ins or advertising services.
5. Quote requests and e-mail
The request form does not send data to our server: it opens your own e-mail program with the request prepared. If you send it, we use your details only to answer your request and to prepare a quote (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). E-mails are deleted when they are no longer needed and no legal retention period applies.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR) and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). For visitors in Kenya, the Data Protection Act 2019 applies in addition.
